Fundations® Workshops
Get ready to implement Fundations® in your classroom with practical tips and guidance for an effective launch.
Our Workshops
All Fundations Level-specific Launch Workshops, virtual, provide the practice and guidance needed to effectively begin teaching the Fundations curriculum for the designated Level(s). Teachers should attend the workshop Level that corresponds to the program Level being implemented.
The two-day Fundations Intervention Workshop focuses on procedures and strategies for implementing Fundations as an early intervention (Tier 2) program within a Multi-tiered System of Supports (MTSS) or a Response to Intervention (RTI) framework. Completion of a Fundations Level-specific workshop is a prerequisite for the Intervention Workshop.
We also offer the half day/Fundations Ready to Rise® Program workshop to prepare teachers to use that program.
Wilson workshops are highly interactive with activities and discussions and were developed with extensive participant input.
Online/virtual offerings are designed to maintain participation and motivation for optimal learning with strategically placed breaks and an extended lunch.
Teacher Support
To support educators after their introductory workshop and during their first year using the program, Wilson offers additional professional learning through Virtual Implementation Support for Fundations. This Level-specific online community of practice allows for the time and space needed to deepen skills, learn practical tips, and connect with peers across the country.
Ongoing support is provided through our online Wilson Academy®. Fundations instructors access the Fundations Learning Community for printable materials, video demonstrations, expert tips, FAQs, discussion boards, and additional resources.
Schools and District Support
We partner directly with schools and districts to build local capacity to use, support, and sustain the Fundations® program. Your Wilson team works alongside school- and district-based teams to prepare and implement your COMPASS plan for Tier 1 and/or Tier 2. Plans may include the development of Fundations® Facilitators and/or Presenters to cultivate teacher-leaders and build sustainability.
